old town square with Krista!

We were so excited to come to Frankfurt because we got to catch up with our friend Krista. To be honest we didn’t do that much sight seeing because we were just having a great time wandering around the city and relaxing with Krista.

We had a great little apartment complete with a kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom/lounge room with a record player. We spent most afternoons chilling out there, drinking beers from plastic bottles and listening to our host’s record selection which included Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Rolling stones and strangely enough, Aussie band Midnight Oil.

Frankfurt is a much more of a business city than the others we have been to, with a small old town across the beautiful river that runs through the city. We had fun wandering, chatting and discovering different areas. While browsing some second- hand shops we discovered this amazing shop selling second hand high-end designer clothes. 6000 euro for a designer handbag, bargain! haha. We had been saving some money recently so it was great to be able go out for a few nice meals with Krista. Italian, Schnitzel and American Burgers.
